Throwback Thursday Valve technology in the past and today On this #throwbackThursday we look back into the past of valve technology. As a family business, GOETZE KG has been involved in the valve industry for more than 70 years and is characterized by its many years of experience and technical know-how. In recent years, technical innovations have increasingly shaped and improved valve manufacturing. The Goetze 851 series is the prototype of this technical development. Originally developed as a heating safety valve, the safety valve has been approved in the Goetze product portfolio and has been continuously developed over the years. While the 851 used to be one cast part, the inlet and outlet housing were later separated so that a flexible inlet or outlet and different connection options can be guaranteed. These different connections as well as seals allow the use in several fields of application, for example in medical technology and industrial boiler systems as well as district heating systems and solar systems in building and industrial technology. Even applications with non-neutral, flammable, toxic and viscous media are permitted. A true all-around valve for numerous applications that will remain part of the Goetze product portfolio in the future.
