Gold H2, is pioneering the production of clean hydrogen through its proprietary Black 2 Gold Technology (B2G). This innovative industrial biotech process converts residual crude oil in depleted oil fields into biologically produced Gold Hydrogen®. By utilizing existing oil and gas infrastructure, Gold H2 offers a cost-effective and eco-friendly alternative to traditional fossil fuels, aiming to produce hydrogen at approximately $0.80 per kilogram. In July 2024, Gold H2 announced a significant memorandum of understanding with a major U.S.-based oil and gas company to initiate a series of pilot demonstrations over the next 12 months. These pilots will commercially showcase Gold H2's unique biotechnology, transforming depleted oil assets into hydrogen-producing sites.
