Would you turn down free marketing for fear of mis-speaking on camera? Last month our team attended the PGA show - which was an excellent opportunity to view new clubs, products, and services. Part of our mission is to educate and inform our customers/followers about the golf industry. To accomplish this we try to interview as many experts as possible. While we were able to engage with many of the top brands and their reps, there was one MAJOR manufacturer that would not allow their employees to answer any questions on camera. This included things like "what is your favorite club of all time from your company?" and "what is the biggest improvement your brand has made this year?" Our team was shocked to see companies turning down free marketing and advertising in 2025. To be clear, none of the employees were rude or did not want to speak, they were simply not allowed. What do you think? Would you let the fear of a potential mis-step from an employee outweigh millions of potential views?
