This innovative collaboration leverages the strengths of both organizations to create generational impact. The partnership focuses on three key areas: expanding access to quality early childhood education, enhancing professional development opportunities, and fostering a supportive learning environment for both children and adults. GIA will assist in promoting LRSD's PreK program to Goodwill families and the broader community, ensuring more children have access to quality early education. Ten teams of first-year students from the Clinton School of Public Service are set to embark on Arkansas-focused public service projects for the 2024-25 academic year. These projects will be conducted in partnership with a diverse array of organizations, including nonprofits, foundations, private businesses, and community initiatives across the state. For this project, the Clinton School team will administer a needs assessment to inform the expansion of skilled training programs across the state of Arkansas. “We are thrilled to launch this groundbreaking partnership with the Clinton School of Public Service. By collaborating with some of the best and brightest minds in public service, we’re opening doors that will help us identify and serve new communities across Arkansas. Just a reminder that Goodwill is participating in the last Little Rock Recycles Day of the year! 🤗 Join us this Saturday, November 16th from 9am-12pm in the East parking lot of the Little Rock Zoo. These items will be accepted for recycling: + Documents for on-site shredding + e-Waste (anything with a power cord except fridges & window AC units) + Glass + Plastic grocery bags (and other soft plastic film like bread bags, over wrap from cases) + Single-stream recycling (MUST BE CLEAN! Plastic bottles, cardboard, paper, cans - the regular contents of a curbside recycle cart) + Bicycles + Household items (things you would take to Goodwill) Swing by the East Parking Lot at the corner of Zoo Drive and Monroe to participate!
