Beginner Webflow devs make this mistake a lot on their projects. If you’ve been working on Webflow even for a little while, Components isn’t an unfamiliar word to you. But if you use it for the first few times, things can get messy fast. That is unless you have a good base to begin with. Which is exactly why we made this guide. We not only covered the basics of components and component slots but also the practical side of it, showing you how to use them effectively in your projects. We’ve kept it simple, with real-world examples and practical use cases, to help you make the most out of these features. Interested? Read it here - https://lnkd.in/eEtjegV8 #webflow #nocode

2024 has been full of updates for Webflow! 🧙♂️ Here are our favorite ones so far: 1. Custom CSS properties The style panel doesn’t have all the CSS properties that exist, so we often had to add some CSS in an embed in order to apply some advanced CSS. This update helps reduce that by allowing us to add custom properties directly in the style panel! 2. Persistent CMS IDs on backups If you’ve used Zapier or Make before, you know how important this update is. Previously, restoring backups would break integrations with CMS items because Webflow would re-generate them. Now, they will always be the same. 3. Page templates You may have created page templates using components before, but this update make the process much more streamlined and gives editors access to page templates. This feature will be even more powerful when editors get access to components. 4. CMS images to WebP Possibly the most requested feature on this list. You can compress all your CMS items with one click, and it will compress your images faster than you compress one by yourself! Huge timesaver for big CMS projects. 5. CMS on Canvas editing You can now edit CMS content directly on the canvas just like static content. This makes the editing experience much easier and more enjoyable because you can see exactly how your content will look like on the page! Did we get them right? What are your top 5?
