This year, we had the honor of contributing to their 4th annual #WONDERGIRLSWELLNESS day, a fitness fundraiser and campaign designed to educate young girls about healthy living, self-care, resilience, and the value of community connections. 🌟💪 Every girl received a Goya Cares swag bag packed with Goya Coconut Water, Goya Puff Snacks, and other nutritious goodies! 🥥 A heartfelt thank you to the amazing lineup of speakers and everyone who played a part in making this event such a great success! In partnership with Dr. Denise Nunez, one of our #mentalhealth Goya Cares coalition partners, we participated in the 2024 Annual Convention of the National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP), where she led “Protecting Kids, Promoting Wellness: Goya Cares in Action” workshop. The session focused on pressing issues, including the mental health crisis affecting Latino teens and how we can work together toward a healthier future for our community.

We teamed up with the Center for Safety & Change, Inc. to host a powerful FREE school assembly for 800 incredible middle and high school students in Tom's River, NJ! Our mission was to empower these young minds with essential knowledge on prevention education, protecting themselves from abuse, and navigating the challenges of online safety. Together, we’ve taken a significant step in equipping our youth with the tools they need to stay safe and informed. What an incredible celebration of life and tradition at our Dia de Muertos event in NYC! Organized by the NYC Department of Transportation, The Times Square Alliance, the States of Puebla and Aguascalientes, and in partnership with the NYC Mayor’s Office for International Affairs, we honored this beautiful cultural experience with food, love, and art! This year’s highlight was the stunning installation of traditional Catrinas and four magnificent altars, including the Goya Altar dedicated to Goya Founders Prudencio and Carolina Unanue. Adorned with vibrant papel picado, marigold flowers, and heartfelt offerings like mole, pan de muerto, and sugar skulls, it was a sight to behold! Thousands came together to enjoy fantastic performances from talented artists like Mariachi Tapatio, La Atraktiva, Jerry Feroz, MACAO, Ballet Guadalupano, and La Comparza Azteca! 🎶The atmosphere was electric as families and friends made memories, honored their loved ones, and snapped pictures with our beloved Catrinas. 📸❤️ Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this event so special! With the help of Global Empowerment Mission, our Goya Cares team at Goya Europa delivered its first trailer of humanitarian aid packed with a variety of food products and much needed water and juices to the people of Valencia, Spain.  Our hearts go out to all those impacted by the recent floods.  Thank you to GEM for their quick response and efforts in providing help to those who need it the most.  Our prayers continue to be with the people of Valencia! #GoyaCares
