Non-stop flights between Grand Junction and Salt Lake City on Delta Airlines resumed Tuesday — nearly two years after Delta ended the route in January 2022. “Restoring air service between Grand Junction and Salt Lake City is a major win for Western Colorado,” shared Congressman-elect Jeff Hurd. “It reestablishes a connection that links to 97 destinations, giving travelers more opportunities, more competition and more affordability.” The route returned thanks to a revenue guarantee grant the airport received, as well as funding from the Air Service Alliance. SkyWest, a regional airline that contracts with mainline airlines, will operate the flights on behalf of Delta Airlines.
