Jef f- Executive Producer of Local Content for Georgia Public Broadcasting - is one of Atlanta's best known and most versatile broadcasters, since 1984. He's served as main news and sports anchor at 11Alive/WXIA Atlanta, Sports Director/main sports anchor at WAGA Fox-5 Atlanta, radio voice of the Atlanta Falcons, afternoon drive radio news anchor at WSB Atlanta, front line play-by-play for ESPN College Football, Basketball (men & women) and Arena League Football, as well as fill-in on CNN's Talkback Live. Founded in 1989, Greater Atlanta Electric League (GAEL) strives to be a recognized, respected professional organization in greater Atlanta's electrical construction industry --a dynamic forum to promote: Understanding and cooperation among all branches of the electrical industry Heightened awareness and education of its members-- not only in industry matters, but in business and political affairs. Support of member families through funding of collegiate scholarships Ethical values to maintain our industry's professional standing within our community. Each year GAEL sponsors a Scholarship Fund. In recent years, a minimum of five candidates have been awarded (2 or 4 year) $4000 scholarships to their school of choice.

Our annual golf tournament benefiting the GAEL Scholarship Fund is a little over a month away! Members interested in playing can email the registration form found in your email to confirm your foursome. We still have a few foursomes remaining, so email execdirector@gael-inc.org to get on the roster. Additionally, there are a few sponsorship opportunities remaining as well. We are looking forward to another successful tournament!

For more than 25 years Josh Bone has been implementing, training, and presenting construction technology solutions to AEC&O (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Owners) professionals. Having worked with some of the top technology leaders in the industry, Josh specializes in identifying best practices and methodologies for integrating construction technology into everyday workflows. Today Josh works with ELECTRI International the non-profit foundation for the electrical construction industry as the Executive Director. He is helping to ensure electrical contractors and industry partners across North America and worldwide have access to the best research, educational programming, student engagement, and international outreach.
