  • GECAC is proud to announce that Emily Bailey has earned her GED® credential. Congratulations Emily! Emily said, "I've always had trouble paying attention and learning but that was no obstacle to Pam Reynolds, my GED preparation teacher. I'm not sure how she does it, but she knows how people learn best. I've seen her do multiple teaching styles in one class, no one is left behind not understanding the work we were on. There aren't enough good things to say about this program and the teachers. I'm 35 and haven't been to school in about 20 years, I was nervous and honestly not sure if I'd be able to do it. Every step of the way Mrs. Reynolds made me feel secure in the knowledge I was taking in. I never felt uncomfortable asking questions and was never made to feel any less for asking questions. She always made sure everyone in the class had a clear understanding of the subject before moving on. Aside from everything she taught me, she also instilled a confidence in learning that I didn't have before this class."
