  • Huge congratulations to the City of Scottsdale, a valued member of The Connective, for once again securing the #1 spot in the 125,000-249,999 population category in the 2024 Digital Cities Awards! From AI governance to digital dashboards, #Scottsdale maintained its position in first place because of their focus on digital interactions with their citizens. The city implemented the Truyo AI governance platform to ensure the responsible use of AI, developed a citywide data strategy, and piloted innovative tools like Amazon Connect to improve response times and operational efficiency. Scottsdale also launched a mobile-responsive website and the Speak Up Scottsdale platform, making it easier for residents to engage with city initiatives and access information. Rather than waiting for industries to offer the latest technologies, Mesa has taken the lead by expanding their Smart City Master Plan - incorporating forward thinking ideas (like AI governance) to ensure technology takes a community-centric approach. The old model of “IoT” at the center of the smart city has transformed and The Connective is proud to support Mesa and our other municipal partners to create smarter, more connected regional solutions.

The Connective works with partners like the City of Mesa—featured in this article—to prioritize the needs of residents, businesses, and visitors.
