At Griswold Home Care, we provide excellent in-home care services to help people thrive in the place they call home.
About us
Griswold Home Care offers a wide variety of services to accommodate the unique needs of clients. For over 35 years in New Castle County, Griswold has been assisting the elderly, adults with disabilities, and those recovering from injuries and illnesses remain comfortable at home by providing them the helping hand they need. Griswold Home Care provides the following services to New Castle County residents: companion care, hospice care support, personal care, homemaking care, live-in/overnight care, and respite care. Griswold Home Care was founded 40 years ago by Dr. Jean Griswold at her dining room table in suburban Philadelphia after an elderly woman in her community passed away because she had no support system for care. She was deeply saddened by what she felt was an easily preventable tragedy and was driven to act. A true visionary, Dr. Griswold established one of the most successful non-medical home care organizations in the country despite her own MS diagnosis. Today, Jean's legacy lives on in the compassion, integrity, and experience at each of our 170 locations nationwide.

🌟 Congratulations to Kendra W., Our Above & Beyond Caregiver! 🌟 We are thrilled to announce that Kendra W. has been honored as the Above & Beyond Caregiver for her exceptional dedication and compassion as the Lead Caregiver for the Lifestyle Concierge program at Foulk Living. Kendra’s impact is felt deeply by the families she serves, with monthly surveys consistently highlighting her outstanding care. Her attention to detail and unwavering support have made a world of difference in the lives of those she serves. 💙 Here’s what families have to say about her: 💬 “Mom would have to move into Assisted Living without her help.” 💬 “Mom would be lost without her.” 💬 “She keeps everyone well informed.” 💬 “This has changed my mom’s life for the better, because she has someone watching her every day and helps her get to social activities. She suffers from short-term memory loss, and this helps her see people again.” Kendra truly goes above and beyond in everything she does, and we couldn’t be more proud to have her on our team! Thank you for making such a positive impact, Kendra. 🙏❤️ #AboveAndBeyondCaregiver #FoulkLiving #MakingADifference #IndependentLiving #GriswoldHomeCare #NewCastleCountyDE #LiveAssured
