When the River Bandits wear one-of-a-kind specialty jerseys, they not only dazzle on the diamond, but also help support the Quad Cities community. This season, the team broke out three new specialty threads while teaming up with local partners. These game-worn jerseys were auctioned off to fans and raised thousands of dollars to support the Vera French Foundation on Mental Health Awareness Night, the Quad Cities Veterans Outreach Center, and--in partnership with McGrath Quad Cities Harley Davidson--Genesis Pediatric Therapy on Disabilities Empowerment Night. In addition, the River Bandits partnered with Group O to auction off the club's iconic Bandidos del Río uniforms (worn during every Wednesday home game) to benefit LULAC Council 10 and 5285, while also auctioning off its batting practice and historic road uniforms in support of Bandit Scholars, the largest scholarship program in Minor League Baseball.
