  • Hi , Doesn’t a New Year just put you in a reflecting mood? That’s where I found myself as these nuggets of wisdom from the book of Proverbs (ch. 13) came to me in my daily reading. All of these are ESV. They are thick with guidance for both life and business. Prov 13:11 -- Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it. Take Away: Persevere and know that success comes slowly, year by year. Don’t chase that big contract. Start small and be patient with progress. Celebrate small victories. Also…book recommendation: “The Gap and the Gain” Prov 13:12 -- Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life. Take Away: I know you have hopes and desires, but set them aside and think of those on your team. Fulfill their hopes and desires. Bless them by knowing them and taking care of them (not just with $). Think in terms beyond yourself. Serve Prov 13:15 -- Good sense wins favor, but the way of the treacherous is their ruin. Take Away: Compliance and knowing regulations are important. There is "good sense" in knowing the rules and following them, there is "treachery" in breaking the rules. This especially true with government contracting, which is why I am releasing a GSA Compliance training in the next monh to support and protect my Customers in this way. Look out for that in an upcoming newsletter. Prov 13:20 -- Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. Take Away: Seek wisdom...best to get it from a wise person. And spend time with people that are smart, loving, and disciplined. it will rub off on you. I am here for you if I can help in any way…book a call to discuss GSA, Federal Sales, or anything else I can help with: https://lnkd.in/gQCa_Yrj I look forward to talking.

  • 💬 Bad Reviews Aren’t the End of the World “I saw you had a few bad reviews...” It’s the last thing you want to hear on a sales call. I braced myself, ready to defend my company and our services. But what came next surprised me: “…I really like how you replied to them.” Instead of judgment, the prospect admired our accountability. Here’s my approach: ✅ For good reviews, I always say, “Thank you!” ✅ For bad reviews, I politely apologize and address the issues. Yes, we had a few negative reviews this year—no one likes them. But here’s the truth: 🔑 They help identify breakdowns in our systems. 🔑 They shed light on how we can improve. I’ve learned that every tough moment offers a chance to grow. One of my favorite sayings is: “Learn or lose.” If you learn from a bad experience, you haven’t lost. That sales call? They became a customer because they saw I was personally invested in my company and fully accountable. 🎯 Want to discuss how a GSA Contract can help you grow your business? Let’s schedule a call and explore how we can set you up for success.

  • 🌟 Election Over—Time to Reignite Your Strategy! 🌟 Now that the election is behind us and the sun still rises, it’s time to shift focus back to building the future. What a breath of fresh air! For months, the turbulence and uncertainty froze our strategic brains. But now, growth is back on the agenda. ✅ Here’s the question: What will take your sales to the next level? Reaching the top 0.5% of small businesses isn’t easy, but it’s achievable. Most businesses struggle with a painful “test-fail-repeat” approach. 🚫 Let’s break that cycle. 🔑 The formula: Processes + Avenue 1️⃣ Processes – The TOBI system (Trust, Organize, Bid, Improve) streamlines your sales strategy and eliminates failure. My book (free!) outlines every step. 2️⃣ Avenue – Reduce friction with a GSA Contract. It gives you instant trust with government buyers and access to $150M in daily opportunities. With these two steps, implemented in just weeks, you’ll be on your way to climbing the sales ladder. 🚀 Let’s strategize! Book a call with me today to get started.

Don’t worry…I’m a data geek, and I'm here to do the research and analysis, so you don't have to. Just read on, and you’ll get days’ worth of research…boiled down to a 2-minute read. (That is a good use of time, right?) Here's what my data-digging let me to conclude: IT companies are obligated to get a GSA contract. (So we can fight the evil Russia-China alliance.) They bombard our government servers (which themselves ironically are mostly soviet era). And they try to scrape up any detail they can to make America …less safe …more uncertain …and unstable (like them). Now, look at this graph of GSA sales last year. • #govcon #gsacontract Ensuring GSA Contract Compliance for Businesses Maintaining GSA contract compliance is essential for businesses aiming to secure government contracts. The General Services Administration (GSA) has established a framework that outlines the necessary federal procurement guidelines and government contract regulations to follow. Adhering to these regulations not only ensures eligibility for current contracts but also paves the way for future opportunities. Non-compliance can have significant repercussions, resulting in penalties that may jeopardize contract eligibility. For instance, 25% of businesses are required to update their Vendor Support Center user profile immediately after obtaining a GSA Schedule contract, while they must also submit electronic contract data to GSA https://is.gd/qpWFKx #Businessethics #Compliancemanagement #Contractmonitoring #Contractperformance #FederalAcquisitionRegulations #Federalprocurement #GovernmentContracts #GSARegulations #Supplierdiversity

  • #govcon #gsacontract Break out of the election “Revenue Slump” It wasn’t always like this. Election years used to be a time of prosperity …not a time of stalling Revenue. Each candidate would paint their picture of a bright future and their plan to get there. The country used to have a warm & fuzzy feeling as an election approached. …your business would get a nice revenue boost because people would spend. But instead, elections have locked down the economy for the past two cycles. People just aren’t spending right now, are they? It’s because of fear and uncertainty. …If your growth targets are unmet, you’ve hit an election-year "Revenue Slump." And it won’t end after Trump or Harris take office. The uncertainty could go on for another year until things settle in. But you can maneuver around this slump When the commercial market goes dry, government spending soars.
