🌟 Thrilled to Announce an Amazing Recognition!🌟 I’m incredibly proud to share that my supervisor Dr. Flavio Costa who presented our paper titled "From Theory to Practice: Validating a High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Experimental Setup for Traveling Wave Analysis" received the Best Presentation Recognition Award at IECON 2024 ! 🎉⚡ Presented by our esteemed supervisor,Dr. Flavio Costa this work showcases our dedication to advancing HVDC technology by developing an experimental setup for studying traveling wave phenomena. Through cable configurations, fault simulations, and three-phase inverters, we’ve been able to dive deeper into the intricacies of transmission line protection and improve strategies for system resilience. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Flavio Costa and all our co-authors: Trever Hassell, P.E. Dr. Wayne Weaver , Dr. Chee-Wooi Ten , Dr. Fernando Ponta, Dr. Daniel Furhmann, for their invaluable guidance. I'm also deeply grateful to my dedicated teammates Pedro Alcântara , Rishin Patra , and Vitor Galdino Jordao for their hard work, insightful discussions, and persistence throughout this journey. This recognition is a testament to our teamwork and commitment. Looking forward to building on this research and continuing to contribute to innovations in HVDC and protection strategies! #IECON2024 #BestPresentation #HVDC #TravelingWaves #ResearchExcellence #Teamwork #ProudMoment
