The fully outfitted flight test aircraft has officially completed its first flight, flying for 1 hour and 41 minutes and reaching speeds of Mach 0.91. The G700 ultra-long-range flagship jet of Gulfstream Aerospace has now set over 65 city-pair records, underscoring its speed and range. Recent record-setting flights include an 8h, 52m journey over 4,090nm from Savannah to Honolulu, and a 6,507nm flight from LA to Sydney in 14h, 26m! Gulfstream promoted the G700’s global appeal at the Bahrain International Airshow last week, where it was showcased alongside the G500. Mark Burns, Gulfstream’s president, highlighted strong global interest, while Scott Neal, senior vice president of worldwide sales, emphasized high demand in the Middle East. Since its FAA certification in March, the G700 has received validation from EASA and nine other countries. Have you seen one in person yet?
