The Harwood District has received triple MICHELIN recognition this year after Hôtel Swexan was awarded a MICHELIN Key in September. Dallas Design Week has come to an end! Our very own in-house designer, Melinda Clark, was recognized for her excellence in hotel design. At the Dallas Market Center, Melinda joined an incredible panel featuring industry legends like Pamela Jaccarino, Chad Dorsey, Kara Adam, and Catie Conlon. Together, they explored the theme “Bringing Hospitality Home: Drawing Influence & Inspiration from Hotel-Inspired Design.” The discussion highlighted the rising trend of in-home bar design, resort-style outdoor spaces, and luxurious, sensory-driven bathrooms that bring the essence of hospitality into our everyday lives. After the panel, attendees enjoyed craft cocktails and Swiss Texan-inspired bites while taking a private tour of Hôtel Swexan with Melinda. We are thrilled to share Hôtel Swexan has been awarded the prestigious MICHELIN guide “One Key” and is recognized as one of the most outstanding hotels in the country. The selection process involved rigorous evaluation across five categories: architecture and interior design, service quality and consistency, overall personality and character, value for money, and the hotel's significant contribution to enhancing the guest experience within its unique setting. This is the second-ever announcement of MICHELIN Keys in the United States, adding selections from all across the country to a list that previously included hotels only from select locations.
