What a session! 😊 Yesterday at Sustainable Places Conference we heard from CINEA - European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency representatives about the #EPBD and the advancements expected for the Energy Performance Certificate #EPC and what LIFE Programme is promoting by supporting many projects in delivering research outcomes into daily practices for the market. 👩💻 👨💻 A brilliant exchange was held among representatives of TIMEPAC, #CHRONICLE, SmartLivingEPC, iEPB EU project, tunES, EPBD.wise and SmarterEPC, with a focus on how we are maximizing the quality of advanced EPC. As we are aware of the challenges ahead, SmarterEPC receipt is a combination of: 1️⃣ harmonised procedures for combined onsite audits (primarily EPC and SRI, as well as BRP and Inspection report) 2️⃣ provision of #SmarterEPCHub with advanced tools for EPC and SRI delivery 3️⃣ direct #link between #SRI and #RealEstate evaluation, and de-risking financing options in line with the #EUTaxonomy principles. As part of the Horizon 2020 iBRoad2EPC project we are proud to share the positive perspectives for the iBRoad2EPC model renovation passport ⤵ A field test in six pilot countries (Bulgaria, Greece, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Spain) examined how #iBRoad2EPC is perceived by energy experts and building owners or building managers.
