Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County is deeply saddened by the passing of President Jimmy Carter, an advocate for affordable housing and dedicated servant leader. For more than 40 years, his work with Habitat for Humanity helped build and repair thousands of homes worldwide. President Carter’s dedication to creating a world where everyone has a safe place to call home impacted lives and empowered families across the globe. In our community, President Carter was the inspiration behind the founding of the Palm Beach County affiliate.
