A federal judge granted preliminary approval for the $2.8B settlement between Blue Cross Blue Shield and parties alleging anticompetitive behavior. A Texas federal court issued a preliminary injunction, halting enforcement of the Corporate Transparency Act. U.S. businesses no longer need to submit beneficial ownership reports to FinCEN by the January 1, 2025 deadline — for now.
