Napa Valley is an extraordinary place. The Valley floor is only 30 miles long and just five miles across at its widest point. Within this small footprint there is an amazing diversity of terroir. As a result, the region is divided into 16 distinctive sub-regions or appellations, each characterized by its unique soils and climate. These individual areas give birth to wines that bear the distinct narratives of their respective locations. In contrast to many wineries that concentrate on specific regions, HALL sources wine from across the entirety of Napa Valley. This approach enables us to offer expressions of single vineyards and appellations that capture the essence of the unique wines that each location offers.
