In 2020 I attended my first ever #FANUC ASI Conference. I only knew one person, and we had yet to sell a single arm in the program. Fast forward five years as we were on stage receiving Outstanding Growth and Exemplary Sales Awards for selling 35 arms in 2024 - a feat only a handful of companies were able to accomplish. I am incredibly proud of the Hamrick Packaging Systems team - it's humbling to see how far we've come in such a short time. FANUC America Corporation from top to bottom is a class act. They make it easy for us ASI's to compete in our spaces. I want to thank them personally for the work they put into this conference, and for their help all year round - it's always appreciated. Also - we missed you, Josh Holtsberry. I'm dumping some photos from my Florida trip, which spanned ten days, two conferences, a sales meeting, and a weekend visit to see my parents. So many good people in packaging/robotics - many of them are shown in these pictures. I am very happy to be back home, and now it's time to get back to work.

This week I wanted to focus on the 2nd largest growth area for Hamrick Packaging Systems, which is integration. Our old business model was just to sell case packers, but often customers are looking for single-source options, which enables us to pursue opportunities for turnkey end-of-line packaging systems while managing the project as a whole. Our Systems Group focuses on value-add, front-end engineering that puts us in position to win a lot of projects like these. Thanks to a vast network of partner companies, we can provide best-in-class machine centers throughout, while working with our customers to include their equipment preferences and lower overall costs. This application shows a compact layout featuring our TE15 Case Erector, which was modified to run cases as small as 3-1/2" wide, as well as our CP10-R Robotic Case Packer, a Wexxar Bel 252 Top Sealer, and our P5-CRX Collaborative Palletizer. The #FANUC M-20iD and CRX-25iA were selected as trusted options for packing and palletizing. The product/case conveyors were manufactured by Multi-Conveyor. This line ran (5) separate formats and the speed capacity to run 12+ cases per minute. This project was a joint effort between us and an integrator, M-Pack Packaging Solutions. Happy Friday! I wanted to showcase the Hamrick Packaging Systems CP20D-S Pick & Place Case Packer running an 18oz personal care product at rates up to 40 cases per minute. Our servo-controlled lug driven infeed system groups undersized boxes in groups of three and advances them to the pick area. Using a customized grip tool, we're able to secure 18 bottles per pick and pack out multiple cases per cycle to meet higher rates of speed. We have an identical machine available for immediate purchase, which includes an on-board servo lane divider and can be configured for a wide range of applications.
