(17:00 - 18:00) In GSMA’s words, “The Global Mobile (GLOMO) Awards are the industry’s most prestigious accolade, judged by the sector’s most prominent subject matter experts. For 30 years, being shortlisted for a GLOMO Award has signified recognition as a serious contender, a brand to watch closely in the tech sector.” A total of 33 awards across seven categories 👉 Mobile Tech, Digital Everything, Device, Tech4Good, Government Leadership Award, Outstanding Achievement and Marketing Excellence Tech giants like Samsung Electronics, Huawei, Xiaomi Technology, China Mobile International Limited, LG Electronics, ZTE Corporation, and SK Telecom are bound to receive quite a few awards as they do each year, but you also have newcomers and those who are not as yet so known. 👉 One of them is Haptic, nominated under the Tech4Good Category and for Best Use of Mobile for Accessibility & Inclusion This award recognizes universal design innovation in the vital development of mobile products, applications, services, devices, and other initiatives and projects that enhance accessibility and inclusivity for billions of people afflicted with disabilities, both physical and mental impairments, as well as older users. Haptic is an inclusive brand with a great team and advisory behind it to make an impact. Yesterday, I introduced the CEO and Founder of Haptic, Kevin Hoil Yoo, to my buddy Jim, Bestselling Author, AI Futurist, International Best Selling Author, and Thought Leader on Disruptive Innovation. And, of course, as always, Jim had to do an impromptu video, so I did a B roll shoot! We are proud to announce that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has officially granted Haptic our new patent: “Systems and Methods for Haptic Navigation”. This patent cements our leadership in haptic navigation technology, protecting our ability to provide vibration-based guidance systems that dynamically adapt to a user's orientation and movement, delivering real-time tactile feedback for seamless navigation. This milestone builds on our previous patent, "Vibrating Haptic Device for the Blind", which secured our early innovations in wearable haptic technology that assists users by transmitting directional cues through vibrations.
