The Albuquerque Community Safety (ACS) is redefining emergency response by providing integrated services for mental health, substance abuse, and homelessness. Designed in partnership with the City of Albuquerque, Albuquerque Police and Fire Departments, this groundbreaking facility ensures timely and compassionate care, while promoting a sustainable and welcoming environment. Located in the International District, the building features inviting public spaces, private courtyards for staff rejuvenation, and an innovative layout that separates public and private areas. Sustainability is at the core of this project, with energy-efficient design and future-ready infrastructure for photovoltaic panels and EV charging stations, aiming for Net-zero certification. Today, on Veterans Day, we pause to honor the courage and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans. At H+Mdg, we are honored to serve those who have served us by designing the New Mexico Veteran's Skilled Nursing & Small Homes project in Truth or Consequences, NM. This project, designed to be both supportive and welcoming, offers independent small homes and skilled nursing facilities for veterans in a caring community setting. https://lnkd.in/ehCBUi-W Exciting news from KRQE NEWS 13/FOX New Mexico: the T or C Veteran's Small Home Community is planning to fill up by February, providing much-needed housing for our deserving veterans. We’re thrilled to share that PAH! Hiland Plaza has been honored with the ULI Terwilliger Center Innovation Award! Congratulations to Sol Housing, our exceptional team of consultants, and the General Contractor, Jaynes Corporation. This remarkable project exemplifies innovation in affordable housing, serving as a nationally recognized model for enhancing the lives of a language minority community through creative and replicable design.

We’re thrilled to announce the City of Albuquerque BioPark Asia Exhibit that we designed in collaboration with CLR Design won the 2024 National Association of Zoos & Aquariums Significant Achievement Exhibit Award, which acknowledges excellence in live animal display and exhibit design! The Asia Exhibit 4.5-acre habitat sets new standards for animal care, featuring rotational “flex” habitats for snow leopards, Malayan tigers, orangutans, and Steller’s sea eagles. Visitors can explore immersive environments like forests, mountains, and coastlines while watching these amazing animals engage in natural behaviors. Huge thanks to our incredible team, including our client the City of Albuquerque BioPark, our zoo exhibit design consultant CLR Design, general contractor Bradbury Stamm and their sub-consultants, our entire H+Mdg project team, and all of our consultants.
