🔍 From 60-80 Seconds to Just 5: Optimized Product Display for HEX Marketplace Previously, loading all ~140 products could take a frustrating 60-80 seconds. Now, we’ve drastically reduced this to just 5 seconds by combining graph algorithms with pagination and lazy loading! Here’s how each method contributes to making HEX Marketplace faster and more responsive: 🚀 1. Single-Source Shortest Paths (SSSP): Boosting Related Item Retrieval Using SSSP, we precompute and preload paths to closely related product categories within each paginated section. For example, when a user views electronics, SSSP quickly loads nearby categories, like computers and accessories, for smooth, continuous browsing.   Runtime: Dijkstra's algorithm provides an efficient pathing solution at O(E + V log V) for non-negative weights, dynamically loading pages and improving the browsing flow. 🔄 2. Breadth-First Search (BFS): Organizing Product Proximity BFS helps manage closely related products within each paginated section, perfect for lazy loading. This way, when users scroll or page through, BFS dynamically loads products with similar tags or attributes, keeping engagement high and reducing wait times.   Runtime: BFS runs at O(V + E), providing quick, relevant item loading with each scroll or page flip. 🌐 3. Minimum Spanning Tree (MST): Structuring Categories Efficiently With MST, we minimize redundant category queries, making Firebase calls only where essential. This keeps data requests lean, reducing load times and cutting Firebase costs by avoiding unnecessary queries.   Runtime: MST operates at O(E log V), ensuring only the essential categories load for every paginated view. 📄 4. Pagination & Lazy Loading: Streamlined Data Management Pagination organizes data into manageable chunks, essential for large datasets, while lazy loading adds items only when users navigate further. Combined with our graph algorithms, this approach prioritizes and preloads relevant data efficiently, enhancing load speeds and minimizing memory use. 💡 Why It Works for HEX Marketplace: ✅ Efficient Data Retrieval - Relevant products load in real-time.   ✅ Reduced Firebase Load - Optimized calls and fewer queries save on resources.   ✅ Enhanced User Experience - Fast, relevant browsing creates a smooth shopping experience.
