Monitoring the Incoming results: 2020 to 2024 Pennsylvania and Michigan Early Voting Numbers In 2020, early voting surged across the country driven by the COVID-19 pandemic and a hotly contested Presidential race. As early voting counts come in, it is reasonable to expect less early voting than pandemic times, but the question is: how much less? In 2020, 886,745 Pennsylvania voters had already cast their ballots by October 20th, with another 1,237,243 casting their vote in the two weeks before the election. So far, 220,356 Pennsylvania voters have cast their ballots in this year's election, and, while this number is lower than it was at the same point in 2020, it's still substantially higher than in previous elections, showing larger participation in early and absentee voting. How costly could JD Vance's attacks on non-parents be in November? Childless Cat Ladies (CCLs) have been attacked repeatedly over the past two weeks. We wanted to shine a light on this often overlooked key demographic group. Using L2’s DataMapping and Haystaq's Harris approval score we took a look at the 111 million women voters who will decide this election. We narrowed our selection to those with no children. That’s over 55 million women in the United States that do not have children. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gHTj3TE7

President Biden has announced that he will not be seeking re-election this November, a decision that has sent shockwaves throughout the political spectrum. This announcement has left many speculating about the future of the Democratic Party, the presidential race, and this country's future. With the Vice President as the presumed front runner and nominee, we look at how the electorate might view Kamala Harris at the top of the ticket. Haystaq has fielded a number of large-scale national surveys on these topics, and we have used the responses to build predictive models. These AI / Machine Learning models give the likelihood of any voter in the U.S. giving a specific response to each question. The models have been tested against survey responses that were not used in building the models, so we know that predictions are accurate. These modeled predictions are appended to our national voterfile as numeric scores, and are available for selecting voter-contact and fundraising universes. Minority Candidate Score: This metric assesses how likely individuals are to vote for a minority candidate. It provides insight into the broader acceptance and support for minority candidates in the electoral process. Female Candidate Score: This score evaluates how likely individuals are to vote for a female candidate. It highlights the impact of gender on voter preferences and the potential influence of female candidates in the upcoming election. Vice President Harris Score: Specifically focused on Vice President Kamala Harris, this score reflects how voters feel about her candidacy. It offers valuable insights into her approval ratings and the public’s perception of her as a potential presidential candidate. With Biden’s exit, these metrics will play a critical role in deciding the next President of the United States. Stay tuned for more updates and analysis as we continue to track these important developments and their impact on the political landscape. How does Kamala Harris perform in a head to head matchup against Trump? That and more coming soon.
