This session combined movement and exercise with Alzheimer’s & Dementia-related disease education, raising awareness and promoting healthy lifestyles to prevent chronic illnesses. Hepatitis delta, also known as #hepatitisD or #HDV, is a liver infection caused by the hepatitis delta virus that results in the most severe form of viral #hepatitis known to humans. Only those already infected with #hepatitisB can acquire #hepatitisD. People living with hepatitis D have greater risk of developing #LiverCancer. Free health screenings for hepatitis B and C, as well as liver and kidney function assessments, will be available, along with assistance enrolling in Virginia's Insurance Marketplace. This event is organized by HBI, Arlington Free Clinic, and the Mongolian Nurses Association. Insurance agent Tuul and the HBI-certified marketplace assisters will be on-site to guide you through the enrollment process to enroll in affordable health insurance for Virginia residents. Note: If you had had a free screening with HBI-DC within the last 5 years, you cannot repeat the test, as this is a grant for new screenings.
