🎄✨ This holiday season, we’re reminded of the power of hope, healing, and community. At Healing Action Network, our mission is to foster safety, healing, and recovery for survivors of trafficking and exploitation. 💙 Fostering Safety: Together, we create a secure and nurturing environment where survivors can rebuild their sense of agency and self-worth—free from fear, harm, or judgment. 💙 Promoting Healing: Through trauma-informed care, we empower survivors to reclaim their lives, rediscover their purpose, and move toward resilience and well-being. 💙 Supporting Recovery: With counseling, peer support, and connection, survivors find the tools to build healthy relationships, overcome substance use challenges, and thrive as part of their communities. This season, as we celebrate the joy of giving and the warmth of togetherness, let’s extend compassion to those on their journey of transformation. Your support helps create a future where every survivor can experience safety, healing, and hope. 🌟💌 Join us in making the season brighter for survivors by donating, volunteering, or spreading awareness. Fostering Safety, Healing, and Recovery with Survivors of Trafficking and Exploitation.
About us
Healing Action is a survivor-founded and led non-profit organization that provides trauma-informed direct services to adult female and male victims of sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. In addition to direct services, Healing Action hosts the Missouri Coalition Against Trafficking & Exploitation, a statewide coalition of service providers & community members working to address human trafficking. The coalition provides community presentations and more in-depth trainings tailored to specific entities, including law enforcement, health care providers, criminal justice employees, and other community organizations. To refer someone for services, you can call 314-833-4515. To request or learn more about trainings/presentations, you can email organizer@mocate.org. Our Mission Healing Action partners with survivors and the community to end commercial sexual exploitation. We do this through community awareness, client advocacy, and a comprehensive array of services.

🎄✨ Holiday Reflections with Audre Lorde ✨🎄 “When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less important whether I am afraid.” - Audre Lorde As we enter this season of giving, joy, and renewal, let’s reflect on the courage it takes to create a better world—not just for ourselves, but for others. At Healing Action Network, we’re inspired by Lorde’s words to embrace our power and channel it into healing, advocacy, and transformation. This time of year can bring both light and challenges, but together we can face our fears, lift each other up, and work toward a vision of a community where all are supported and free from exploitation. 🎁 Whether it’s through donating, volunteering, or simply spreading awareness, your strength in action helps us fulfill our mission. Let’s make this holiday season a time to dare, heal, and empower. 🌟 Join us in this journey—because together, we are unstoppable. 💙 #HealingActionNetwork #AudreLorde #HolidaySeason #DareToBePowerful #CommunityHealing #Empowerment #SeasonOfGiving

🎄✨ This Holiday Season, Let's Commit to Safety and Dignity for All ✨🎄 As we gather with loved ones, exchange gifts, and reflect on the spirit of giving, let’s remember this powerful truth: “All individuals have the right to live a life free from violence, exploitation, and victimization.” – Katie Rhoades, Founder of Healing Action Network The holiday season is a time for joy, connection, and compassion, but for many, it can also be a reminder of struggles faced in silence. This year, let’s honor the true meaning of the holidays by championing safety and freedom for everyone, especially those impacted by violence and exploitation. 💙 How You Can Help: Support organizations like @HealingActionNetwork and others working tirelessly to provide resources, advocacy, and hope. Educate yourself and others about the signs of exploitation and how to take action. Show kindness to those around you—sometimes a small gesture can make a world of difference. Together, we can create a world where every person feels safe, valued, and free to thrive. Let’s make this season about more than gifts—let’s make it about healing, hope, and action. #EndExploitation #FreedomForAll #HealingAction #HolidayKindness #GiveHope

🌟 At Healing Action Network, we’re dedicated to empowering survivors and building stronger, more resilient communities. Here’s a look at our core programs: ✨ Center for Survivors: We provide essential trauma recovery services, including intensive service management, trauma therapy, individual and group peer support, a drop-in support center, and psychoeducation & trauma groups. Our goal is to support adults who have experienced sexual exploitation and help them on their journey toward healing. 🤝 Coalition Against Trafficking and Exploitation (CATE): CATE is a statewide coalition working to prevent and respond to human trafficking. Through workgroups, policy advocacy, research, data collection, and setting standards of care, we’re driving change and creating a safer Missouri. 💼 Volunteer Service Link: This program connects AmeriCorps members and volunteers with victim service organizations across Missouri. Participants gain skills, build relationships, and strengthen the safety net for survivors while helping to identify victims, improve data collection, and increase community awareness. Together, we’re creating pathways to hope and healing. Join us in making a difference! #HealingAction #SupportSurvivors #EndTrafficking
