This reverse pitch competition, launched at Boise Entrepreneur Week, challenged student teams to tackle real healthcare problems in a fast-paced, few-week sprint. 🏆 We’re thrilled to celebrate the top three pitches: OneHealth – Tackling medication adherence for diabetes patients with innovative tools and support. Vantage – Developing a solution to identify and prevent pressure injuries. Beyond Beauty Brushes – Using 3D printing to create custom grips that empower individuals with spinal cord injuries to accomplish everyday tasks. These projects embody the ingenuity and determination needed to transform healthcare. We're thrilled to highlight Ashley Crafton's work with Galena Innovations! A 2022 Pitch Competition Winner at Boise Entrepreneur Week, Ashley went on to win the Startup World Cup semifinals in Boise, and a few weeks ago, competed in the Startup World Cup finals in San Francisco. Ashley's life-saving device helps prevent preterm birth in the form of a cervical cup for expectant mothers. The Hannah Cervical Cup is revolutionizing preterm healthcare as Ashley is pioneering change in the healthcare industry. Galena Innovations made it to the Top 10 round of the Startup World Cup competition out of 85+ finalists. the Trailhead team could not be more proud of Ashley as she continues making history with Galena Innovations - way to represent the Idaho entrepreneur community!
