About us
HMS is a national firm that partners with Continuous Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs), skilled nursing centers, rehabilitation centers, home health companies, hospitals and other health care organizations to optimize operating margins while protecting quality. HMS is not a group purchasing organization (GPO). Unlike a GPO, HMS is focused on partnering with its clients to provide custom, objective solutions for purchasing while also improving revenue streams in over 40 categories. The HMS value proposition is based upon a no-risk, contingency fee structure. Unless and until operating margins in the approved categories measurably improve, the client owes no fee. HMS differentiates its services from the competition and achieves remarkable results by utilizing superior data, knowledge, and processes combined with complete transparency. HMS has many satisfied clients that will be happy to attest to this. HMS and its team of subject matter experts can help provide new revenue streams while also improving existing streams, especially as they relate to Medicare parts A and B as well as other payers. HMS works with different spend categories such as rehabilitation services, pharmacy, diagnostic services, medical supplies, and dozens of others. HMS is able to produce results while taking very little of its clients’ time, allowing them to focus on the mission and day-to-day operating activities.
