“I was exhausted… everything felt like it was about billing.” As we talk with primary care providers (PCPs), one thing is clear—burnout is worse than ever. More PCPs are struggling daily, cutting back hours, or leaving medicine altogether. We need to shift more resources to the frontlines of primary care. These clinicians deserve our support. It’s time for action. #primarycare #burnout #healthcare #medicine #populationhealth #valuebasedcare https://lnkd.in/e8pHn7AH

It’s a familiar story: the calendar turns to Q4, and suddenly it’s a scramble to close care gaps, hit coding targets, and meet payer goals. But what if it didn’t have to be that way? What if we could help primary care practices spread the work throughout the year—keeping patients on track, closing gaps as they arise, and reducing the pressure on providers and staff? That’s the approach we take at HealthHelper. It’s not about quick fixes or last-minute pushes. It’s about consistent, thoughtful engagement that helps organizations meet their goals while giving providers space to focus on what matters most: their patients. If this resonates, reach out. We’re here to help make 2025 a better year for your team and your patients. #primarycare #HEDIS #populationhealth #valuebasedcare #medicareadvantage #mssp #cmmi #carenavigation #caregaps #gapsincare #healthcarequality #patients

HealthHelper was founded by a practicing primary care physician to solve painpoints he felt firsthand. To this day, we stay grounded in our purpose—bringing relief to overwhelmed primary care practices by taking on the work providers don’t have time for. Check out this blog from our CEO & Co-Founder - Josh Kahane, MD - sharing the story behind why we started HealthHelper. #primarycare #caregaps #populationhealth #valuebasedcare #founder #foundingstory #HEDIS #carenavigation #gapsincare https://lnkd.in/eSZ_3c8p

🦃 Need some Thanksgiving reading? Our friends over at Care New England, Integra Community Care, and ARCHES MEDICAL PARTNERS really nailed it in this Medical Economics article. They’ve captured so many of the critical trends shaping primary care today. It’s inspiring to see leaders in healthcare moving ambulatory care to the forefront—this is exactly where we need to go to truly achieve value-based care. Their focus on prevention, pre-emptive care, and proactively managing chronic conditions is spot on. These are the cornerstones of improving health outcomes, reducing costs, and delivering care that’s patient-centered. It’s not easy to shift to a system that rewards keeping patients healthy rather than reacting to illness, but the commitment they’ve shown proves it’s possible. The Integra at Home model is a shining example, with its demonstrated reductions in ER visits and inpatient utilization proving the power of proactive, in-home care solutions. It’s proof that focusing upstream leads to big downstream wins for patients and the system as a whole. At HealthHelper, we share the same mission to support providers and push primary care forward through innovative, patient-centered care solutions. From all of us here at HealthHelper, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving filled with health, happiness, and gratitude! Cheers to continued collaboration and innovation in this space. 🧡 Roger Mitty, MD, MBA | Ana Tuya Fulton, MD, MBA, FACP, AGSF | Michael Wagner, MD FACP https://lnkd.in/eMig7Z8v

Primary care is in crisis, and it’s not hard to see why. Nearly 300 primary care physicians at MGH and Brigham and Women’s are filing to unionize, saying they’re overwhelmed by the workload and struggling to balance patient care with mounting administrative demands. This isn’t just their story—it’s a reality across primary care. PCPs are stretched thin, juggling paperwork, care coordination, and other non-clinical tasks, all while trying to provide the kind of care they trained for and that their patients deserve. We HAVE to find ways to lighten the load. Health systems, health plans, and provider networks need to step up—offloading the administrative burden and giving PCPs the time and space to focus on their patients. New tools, better workflows, and support services aren’t just “nice to have.” They’re critical. Not just to avoid burnout but to make sure we’re delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Let’s build a primary care system where providers can thrive. They deserve it—and so do their patients. What steps are you seeing in your world to support PCPs better? We’d love to hear your thoughts. https://lnkd.in/dYwcMSCG #primarycare #burnout #healthcareIT #familymedicine #internalmedicine #pediatrics #carecoordination

At HealthHelper, we recognize the profound impact that a longstanding relationship with a primary care provider can have on your health. Recent studies reveal that only about two out of five adults have been with their primary care provider for at least five years—a significantly lower proportion than in other countries. Why is this important? A continuous relationship with a primary care provider deepens trust, enhances personalized care, and is associated with lower overall healthcare costs and fewer hospitalizations. When your doctor knows your health history intimately, they’re better equipped to detect early signs of issues and tailor treatments that fit your unique needs. HealthHelper is committed to closing this care gap. Join us in fostering stronger patient-provider relationships. Together, we can build a healthier future where everyone benefits from continuous and compassionate primary care. #primarycare #valuebasedcare #populationhealth #HEDIS #qualitycare Source: Evan D.
