Founded in 2006, HeartValveSurgery.com (HVS) is the largest online community and educational resource for patients diagnosed with heart valve disease. Our platform provides patients, their families, and friends interactive services - a social network, a blog, a surgeon finder, an educational video library, a book, a heart valve clinic directory - to guide people through the cardiac surgery cycle. HeartValveSurgery.com has partnered over 40 leading cardiac centers (e.g. Cleveland Clinic, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Northwestern Medicine) and more than 200 heart valve specialists to educate and empower patients about valve disorders and optimal treatment.
