Did you know Ductile Iron Piles (DIPs) have been used for decades to support heavy structures? Our team designs and installs DIPs on projects with low headroom, constrained access (such as urban sites), vibration concerns, and many other situations where traditional Drilled Micropiles (DMPs) may typically be specified (and we install those too!). Learn more about Ductile Iron Piles here: https://lnkd.in/e8-GUFA3

As we approach a season of giving in November and December, Helical's Community Committee has designated Thursday, October 31st as Helical Giving Day! The HELICAL Community Committee is coordinating donations to Manglaralto Giving, a non-profit organization working in a little town on the coast of Ecuador. Manglaralto Giving is a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting the Manglaralto Parish in Ecuador. Donations fund meals, toys, and community programs. In August, our team enjoyed a Picnic at Six Flags. Fun rides, great food, and quality time with colleagues and their families made it a day to remember! 🎢 In September, we took our teamwork to the field for a Charity Softball Game! With plenty of laughs, competitive spirit, and community support, we came together to raise funds for a great cause. ⚾ From roller coasters to home runs, it’s been a season of bonding, fun, and giving back. Geopier® GeoConcrete® Column (GCC) rigid inclusions have expanded bases that allow them to terminate in shallow marine clay “crust”. Thus, GCCs can eliminate the need for deep piles that extend down to glacial till or bedrock. Read more in our News Brief here: https://lnkd.in/d5tnUmry

A 34-unit condominium in Boston experienced significant settlement due to compressible organic soil layers. Helical Drilling utilized compaction grouting to stabilize the structure by underpinning footings, and completed the project ahead of schedule. Helical’s Community Committee has been helping make a difference! Our team recently collected and donated essential supplies to a local animal shelter, helping our furry friends stay healthy and happy. 🐶🐱 We also rolled up our sleeves for a pond clean-up with Neoponset River Watershed Association, removing trash and debris to support a cleaner, healthier environment for our community and wildlife. 🌿🌊 A big thank you to everyone who participated and to our community for supporting these initiatives.
