hello_LinkedIn! we're building Miami's engineering community. our goal is to create a space for engineers & technical builders to connect, learn from each other, and build together. oh and have fun! through partners, research, and scraping, we've identified over 10,000+ "engineers" based in Miami. and we have a few theories: - they're more "advanced" in their careers - more suburban & spread out - currently in silos we also found that there is a demand for community... currently there is a huge opportunity for technical programming in Miami & we can learn from other cities: - workshops & events (https://lu.ma/sf, NYC Systems Talks) - communities (Cerebral Valley, Capital Factory) - spaces (Founders, Inc., South Park Commons, Verci) our plan: we're focused on building a strong core. this core will attract and positively influence the surrounding ecosystem, w/ 3 initiatives: 1. Lab Nights (every other Thurs) 2. Monthly technical workshops 3.
