NEWS: Genius™ outperforms OpenAI's o1-preview in code breaking challenge, “Mastermind” Genius solved Mastermind all 100 games, was 140 times faster and 5,260 times cheaper than o1-preview. The test involved 100 games being played by each system, using the same secret code parameters: 4 positions and 6 possible colors. Results were measured by success rate, computation time, number of guesses, and total cost. Highlights: ⬥ Accuracy and reliability -- Genius solved the code every time in a consistent number of steps. ⬥ Speed -- Genius consistently solved games in 1.1 to 4.5 seconds, while o1-preview's solve times ranged from 7.9 to 889 seconds (approximately 15 minutes). ⬥ Efficiency -- Genius's total compute time for 100 games was just over five minutes, compared with o1-preview's 12.5 hours. ⬥ Cost -- Genius's compute cost was estimated at 5¢ US for all 100 games, compared with o1-preview's model at $263 (U.S.) For more information, visit our website: https://hubs.li/Q02_Zf-Z0 #Intelligence #Genius #AI
