Today, we are shining the spotlight on our client Reid Mukai! Reid began fundraising with us in June to help purchase a wheelchair accessible van. At first, Reid's wife, Danielle, rented a wheelchair accessible van to ensure Reid made it to his upcoming appointments. Through fundraising, they were hoping to purchase a used wheelchair van with low miles—which typically ranges from $45,000 to $60,000. In October, thanks to the support of his community, Reid and Danielle were able to purchase the vehicle they desperately needed: a 2020 Toyota Sienna wheelchair van with relatively low odometer miles.
