Our new website for the Hennepin Healthcare Research and Evaluation Data Analytics Core (REDAC) is now live! Thanks to Associate Director of REDAC, Justine Mrosak, for leading the development of our new site. Senior Researcher Gretchen Riehm Buchanan, PhD, LMFT, LADC, at the #RedleafCenterforFamilyHealing and Assistant Professor University of Minnesota, was invited by MSP Film Society Cinema Club Moderator, Megan Feeney as a subject-expert to speak at the #nightbitch film screening to open a dialogue about the difficulties of motherhood not often discussed, including #postpartum mental health, the isolation of #motherhood in America, female empowerment, loss of identity, and shifting parenting styles. The #RestorativeNeurotraumaLab (RNL) describes itself as “a small lab making a big impact for those who have suffered.” Co-Principal Investigators and Neurosurgeons David Darrow, MD, PhD & Samuel Cramer, MD, PhD spearhead the lab. It is part of the Hennepin Healthcare Research Institute (HHRI) and studies neuromodulation to improve the lives of individuals who have suffered neurotrauma. That life-changing moment was over six years ago on July 9, 2018.
