Our founder Mohammad Salehi visited Herat Afghanistan for the saffron harvest season.
My Trip For Saffron Harvest in Herat, Afghanistan Mohammad Salehi here from Herat Afghanistan. This saffron harvest season, I have the privilege of traveling to Herat to meet with our dedicated farmers and witness their incredible work firsthand. Afghanistan is expecting to produce over 40 metric tons of saffron this year—a hopeful sign for both quality and livelihoods. Saffron isn’t just a spice; it’s a lifeline for many families here. It creates jobs, supports entire communities, and provides the sole source of income for countless farmers and their loved ones. During my visit, I have the chance to sit down with farmers to hear about their challenges, their resilience, and their optimism for a strong crop year. Despite the hurdles they face, their commitment to cultivating world-class saffron remains unwavering. As always, I’m inspired by their dedication and proud to support this vital industry that not only puts Afghanistan on the global map for saffron but also empowers local communities. Here’s to a prosperous harvest season for everyone involved! 🌱💜 Please reach out to us for your saffron needs, and help the Afghanistan farmers directly.
