    Andrew Cook brings seven years of financial leadership experience to Heritage Communities as Controller, having previously served as both a Controller and Assistant Controller. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and an MBA from Bellevue University, equipping him with a robust foundation in financial management and strategic planning. Although new to the senior living industry, Andrew’s personal experiences have fueled a deep drive to make a difference. The "Living Better" tagline and Heritage Communities' vision of delivering innovative senior care immediately resonated with him. Andrew is honored to contribute to an organization so closely aligned with his values, and he is eager to positively impact the lives of residents and their families. A proud Nebraska native and dedicated "Jaysker," Andrew supports both Nebraska football and Creighton basketball. When he's not in the office, he enjoys outdoor activities like golf and spending quality time with his family, including his three-month-old daughter, Phoebe. His passion for cultivating meaningful connections and creating better experiences makes Andrew a valuable addition to the Heritage Communities team.

    Heritage Communities Welcomes a New Vice President of Facilities Josh Crouch has built an impressive 12-year career in Facility Management, demonstrating his expertise across diverse sectors including hospitality, education, and food service. His leadership acumen, developed over 8 years, is evident through his impactful roles at Radisson Hotels, Omaha Country Club, Omaha Public Schools, Dairy Queen, Domino’s Pizza, and Midland University. Josh is well-equipped with a solid educational foundation. He obtained associate degrees in Facility Management and HVAC from Metropolitan Community College. His academic excellence continued at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he secured an undergraduate degree in Industrial Technology and a graduate degree in Community and Regional Planning. Eager to broaden his horizons, Josh pursued a graduate degree in Human Resource Management from Louisiana State University, focusing on Labor Relations and Workforce Development. His commitment to continuous learning led him to earn professional certificates in Labor Relations and Property Management from Cornell University. Josh's choice to specialize in senior living is grounded in his personal values and life experiences. Having been raised by his grandparents, he cherishes the opportunity to work with seniors, honoring the profound impact his grandparents had on him. His passion truly shines at Heritage Communities, where Josh looks forward to leveraging his skill set to enhance resident satisfaction alongside a fantastic team. Outside of his professional commitments, Josh is an avid fitness enthusiast and enjoys spending time outdoors. His passion for sports extends beyond personal enjoyment; he actively participates as a football and wrestling referee. Above all, he cherishes quality time with his son, Grayson, shaping their bond through shared adventures and learning experiences.

    🌟 Exciting News from Heritage Communities! 🌟 We are thrilled to announce the hiring of David Ewing as the new Executive Director of Orchard Pointe at Creek Valley, starting October 8, 2024! With 25 years of experience in senior living, David has excelled in roles across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. His expertise spans several states, including Texas, Indiana, Ohio, Colorado, and Maine. Certified as an Assisted Living Manager and Dementia Practitioner, David is also a national instructor and has developed educational programs for professional training and certifications. David and his wife Linda, originally from the San Antonio area, recently moved back to Texas after living in Maine for the past year. They now reside in North Richland Hills while searching for a permanent home. David enjoys the outdoors, photography, teaching, and reading, and he’s looking forward to connecting with our community.     This week, we're highlighting Larry, affectionately known as "Flip," one of our remarkable residents with a life full of achievements! From a young age, Flip was a hard worker and a go-getter, juggling a paper route, grocery store shifts, and golf caddying gigs. 📰🛒⛳ On the basketball court, he was unstoppable, leading his high school's team to victory in the Regional Finals one year with a legendary 23-point game! His talent earned him a college scholarship and a spot on the local newspaper's basketball Roll of Honor! 🏀🏆 Flip's commitment to excellence didn't stop there. He proudly served our country in the Army and then built a successful career in the electrical industry. 💡 Flip's story reminds us that with dedication and drive, we can achieve success in any endeavor we pursue. 👏
