Today, on Trans Day of Remembrance, we honor those lost to anti-trans violence. This year, 350 trans individuals have been reported murdered globally—an overwhelming majority being Black trans women. At HMI, we stand against this violence by providing LGBTQIA+ youth with safer, affirming spaces, grief support, and the community they need to heal. Together, we reflect, mourn, and commit to building a world free from hate. #TDOR24

If you know a young person seeking support, in addition to The Trevor Project’s resources, you can also direct them to HMI. They can speak with one of HMI’s counselors, connect through our partnered online community, Q Chat Space, recharge in the Kiki Lounge, participate in a creative art therapy group, or share a hot meal with peers. Visit hmi.org/youth. #LGBTQyouth
