Hexis began because our owner, Andrew Skoog, worked in distribution sales and was a machinist before that. GenSwiss® coolant-thru drill sleeves provide a solidly built method for holding larger diameter tools to tight tolerances. As an example, the most common tool holder collet for Swiss lathes is ER16, which maxes out at 10mm, however sometimes customers need to hold bigger tools. Sleeves are manufactured in several inch and metric shank sizes; 5/8in, 3/4in, 1in, 20mm, and 22mm. Nominal tool bore sizes range from 3mm to 8mm.
