The Stockton Soda project will replace carbon-intensive synthetic soda ash production overseas with reserves drawn from Green River, WY. Soda ash is a key component in the clean economy, as it is used in the production of numerous energy transition products. The Stockton Soda Ash Port (SSAP) facility, in the Port of Stockton, CA, will create a supply chain that connects soda ash markets via Union Pacific Railroad trains and cargo ships. As a major subconsultant, Hill is providing project and construction management for multiple components of the project. Our first assignments including helping to manage the Infinity Railroad Loop and the High-Capacity Rail Car Unloading Building (RCUB) and Conveyor System.
