𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 🌎 We visited 15 Boys and Girls Clubs, engaging with outstanding middle school students all over Hillsborough County. Our goals were to: 💡explain the purpose of Public Defenders 💼introduce them to various legal and judicial careers 🌎 inspire them to create positive change in their communities Our team had a great time and we thank the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay for the opportunity!

Today I wrapped up my first semester interning with the Hillsborough County Public Defender | 13th Judicial Circuit as an Investigations Intern. I am so grateful for this opportunity to learn so much about our criminal justice system and meet such amazing people along the way. I will be continuing my internship in the spring semester and cannot wait to see what opportunities lie ahead!

Last Friday, Public Defender Julianne Holt was presented with the Chief Judge Award during the End-of-Year Celebration at the Hillsborough County Courthouse. ✨ We are proud to have been led by this trailblazer for over thirty years!
