    HireApp became a member of the International Warehouse Logistics Association, the ONLY trade association representing warehouse-based third-party logistics (3PL) providers across North America (Canada and the US). With 500+ members, IWLA is an ideal place for HireApp to be and network, as we plan in Q2 2025 to take an active role in their largest annual convention & expo in Tuscon (AZ) in May. IWLA represents a “watering hole” for our potential customers, as they: ☑️ organize highly specialized events and webinars,  ☑️ actively help their members network,  ☑️ push news and updates on their members to their owned channels, ☑️ and have excellent relations with specialized, credible media in our space. In 2025, we look forward to having a more substantial brand presence in the warehouse and logistics space, adding an in-person layer to our existing relationships and forging new ones.

    📣 NEWS 📣 With HireApp, it now takes a few minutes instead of hours to complete "timesheet reconciliation" for #3PL. In my last post https://lnkd.in/e3gndMRm I introduced a typical pen and paper timesheet that most legacy warehouses still use. Today, I'll share how we digitized it and introduced live invoices and live timesheets that should eliminate: ✅  (in time) the need for double data entry on the company’s side, ✅ “time theft” by introducing a geo-location-based timestamp for PRO’s clock-in instead of chicken scratch on a piece of paper that may or may not mean anything. In most companies, it takes someone from HR or accounting at least an hour or more per day to reconcile the time difference and ensure the proper worker data is in the records. If not done right, it snowballs and puts a wrench in: 🚫 our clients getting paid by their clients, 🚫 and PROs getting paid for their work. This becomes a big issue, as lagging payments disrupt the ongoing service provision, a top priority for everyone in the value chain. By introducing digital timesheets and live invoices, we: ☑️ minimized the chances of making or not catching mistakes, ☑️ and reduced the time needed to complete this process to several minutes daily. Our long-term goal is to eliminate the need for paper records by keeping all the data on all employees (PTL and FTL) in our system, but that’s a story for another time. We released this feature for some clients in December ‘24, getting the first positive reviews. I look forward to seeing how this seemingly simple solution impacts our customers' businesses, and I will share data as we progress.

    The new HireApp website is live! 🎉 This year was a real rollercoaster for us. We had a big pivot and switched focus to several new industries, such as #3PL#lightindustrial#logistics, and #warehousing. Not all of our hard work can be reflected in something as simple as a new website, but with this latest version, our presence reflects our main successes in Q3 and Q4 2024, and it is up to date with our vision for the future.

    HireApp launched a few-minute-long AI-powered job position verification process. 🎉 Did you know a janitor needs four in-person interviews before starting work at a facility? We asked ourselves: “What is the point if we are making it HARDER for people to get work?” That's why HireApp launched an “AI assessment” feature. It takes a few minutes to vet PROs and ensure they meet the position qualification criteria. PROs can now apply for any number of shifts and get feedback almost instantly. ↳ PROs start working faster. ↳ The risk of human error is reduced to zero. ↳ Our team can focus on more complex tasks. This significant improvement is only a tiny part of HireApp V 3.0, a complete app overhaul we will launch to increase the quality of our user experience and our company’s capital efficiency.

    Biloxi (Mississippi) and Kiawah Island (South Carolina) are not exactly booming metropolises, yet HireApp is running projects in both. We helped our clients get started with less than 72 hours of notice! This is a proud moment for us at HireApp. Our clients really need us to fill shifts in obscure, local markets, and that's what we do best! It's amazing that only six months ago, most of our shifts were in Miami, FL, and NYC, NY. By gaining a nationwide presence, we hedged risks for our business and democratized access to work opportunities. Now, we can put extra cash in the hands of locals who want to do honest day work. How's that for motivation to come to the office and say: "Happy Monday!"

    🎉 NEWS 🎉 HireApp x Accurate Background integration! In early October, our team completed the integration of this background check solution for workers into our platform. The purpose of this integration is twofold: 1️⃣ New business - We already see how onboarding this new vendor is opening doors for us, as the results of their background check are widely requested and accepted by the most prominent players in our target industries. 2️⃣ Better UX for PROs—Parallel to this, we have launched an update to the user experience for our PROs during background checks. This seamless integration means our PROs are in-app throughout the process, start to finish, getting just the result (pass/fail) without additional data that might confuse them. We have a couple more updates in the pipeline, and we will discuss them as they come to fruition.

    Do you think robots will eliminate blue-collar jobs? Here is a $150,000,000 labor opportunity they created. (HireApp is capitalizing on it as we speak.) Context ↳ One of our new customers is a company that runs an enormous robotized warehouse with vertical pallets (like the ones in the image below). The warehouse is huge. For efficiency's sake, flat and low robots have replaced humans in fetching those pallets, lifting them, and carrying them to the workstations where people stand. Problem ↳ The problem with these robots is the sole reason why they are so helpful—their speed. When they move, they move fast. Because of the sudden movement, they are heavily impacted by so-called G-forces. (That means items tend to fall out of pallets when the robot stops or starts moving.) This a disaster for multiple reasons: 1️⃣  Price of goods destroyed. (direct cost) 2️⃣  The robot has to stop and wait for human assistance. (opportunity cost) 3️⃣  The whole area, maybe even the warehouse, is blocked until humans clean up. (HUGE opportunity cost) DIY solution ↳ Do you know what the current solution is? Rubbers around the pallets. But, there is a problem with the DIY solution: ↳ Rubber wears out. When it does, it has to be replaced. @HireApp PROs do that. It sounds absurd, but it makes perfect sense: Robots have led to an entirely new type of work. Our client pays hundreds of millions annually to replace the rubbers in their warehouses. Now, imagine how many scenarios like this one exist, where robot technology promises but can’t deliver. Do you still think blue-collar jobs will die out? Evolution is more likely.

    The fact that HireApp can put food on the tables of entire families and that they trust us enough to be their only income source in this economy makes our team very proud. Today, we share the story of such a case: Alis, Raul, Billy, Franco, Anderson, and Enaldo are a family from Baltimore. This is their story, told by the matriarch of the family, Alis (48): “I am Alis, a mother of four children and a grandmother of six.
