Celebrating Excellence: Jeff Hansen and Tommy Herring Inducted into the 2025 Swine Web Hall of Fame: https://lnkd.in/g-fMhush Swine Web proudly announces the induction of Jeff Hansen, founder of Iowa Select Farms, and Tommy Herring, President of TDM Farms and Hog Slat, into the 2025 Swine Web Hall of Fame. Their exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication have significantly advanced the swine industry. About the Inductees: Jeff Hansen began his journey in the 1970s on his father's farm in Iowa Falls, Iowa. In 1992, he and his wife, Deb, founded Iowa Select Farms, which has grown into the largest family-owned pork production company in the U.S., producing over 5 million pigs annually across nearly 800 farms in Iowa. The Hansens also established the Jeff and Deb Hansen Foundation in 2006, supporting cancer research, food banks, and veterans programs. Iowa Select Farms Tommy Herring, along with his brothers David and Mark, expanded their father's business, Hog Slat, Inc., into a leading global provider of hog equipment and turnkey construction services. They also manage TDM Farms, a 30,000-sow operation.
