In Maryland at our Accokeek and Kirby Road Sand & Gravel sites, we conducted the first ever Stand Down to Save Lives. Joining the event and sharing our commitment to safety, were honored guests Chris Williamson and Brian Goepfert from the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA). “Stand down for safety is a cooperative way that all stakeholders work together to save lives and prevent injuries and illnesses,” said Brian Goepfert, Administrator for Mine Safety and Health Enforcement.
