We searched far and wide for the best caption for this photo in a caption contest…and our employees delivered! 🐏 1️⃣ Not sure if we should write up the horn on our pre-trip checklist?! 2️⃣ Working horn & baaaaackup alarm 3️⃣ We've heard of pigs-in-a-blanket but rams-in-a-bucket? Which caption is your favorite? Shoutout to David Robinson for capturing this amazing shot!

Congressman Jack Bergman, Representative Cam Cavitt and other local leaders had a productive visit at our Alpena (MI) Plant. From our alternative fuels facility to ongoing port improvements, they observed our future-forward initiatives in action across the plant. They also attended a town hall with employees, where they discussed topics like infrastructure investments, sustainable practices and affordable college for local students. This visit underscores the plant’s vital role in the region’s economic and environmental progress.

As we continue to celebrate Veteran's Day this week, here are some ways we've demonstrated our appreciation for their service. 💚 In Massachusetts, we cleaned up the 9/11 memorial at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School. It was a special way to beautify the school while honoring our country. 💚 Our Hagerstown (MD) plant joined the annual Day of Caring to serve the community's most vulnerable residents, including veterans. By doing landscaping and roofing, volunteers showed our commitment to caring for our neighbors. 💚 In Stringtown (OK), we served a meal to veterans driving a military convoy along Jefferson Highway. We love opportunities like this to show our support for veterans. 💚 And, we're proud to help veterans fight hunger. We gave over 620 pantry items to the Bedford Township Veterans Center in Temperance, Michigan.

Recently, we hosted two groups of Colorado policymakers — the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment division and Colorado Senator teams — to evaluate CCUS opportunities at our plant. By working with the public sector, we’re leading the way to decarbonize.

From building engines for dual-rotor helicopters in the U.S. Marines to working in the raw mill at our Ste. Genevieve (MO) plant, John Pratt has always played a crucial role in keeping operations on track. Veterans bring important skills of leadership and adaptability to the table, making them uniquely prepared to take on new challenges. We are thankful to have him on our team!
