Stretching isn't just for humans; our senior dogs benefit from it too! As our canine companions grow older, keeping them limber is essential. Senior dogs often face muscle stiffness and joint issues, which can be alleviated with regular stretching. So, make stretching a part of your senior dog's routine and watch them enjoy their golden years to the fullest! 🐶💕

If you notice a pink or red growth in the corner of your dog's eye, it is likely the result of a prolapsed third eyelid gland, more commonly known as “cherry eye”.  Surgery is the only curative therapy for cherry eye, but your vet may begin treatment by prescribing topical anti-inflammatories or suggesting at-home remedies.  You can only pursue surgery if the tear gland is actively prolapsed. If your dog's cherry eye comes and goes, your vet may choose to wait until it becomes more permanent before performing surgery. 🩺🐾

Cats are smarter than they let on to be! The exact amount that a cat will remember depends on their individual brain and experiences.  For instance, a cat that had trauma in their life (being abused, etc.) might remember much more than the average cat or much less.  Overall, cats usually have a really good memory. Research even shows that cats have both short and long-term memory, just like humans. 🐱✨
