The RS105 Supermini system is THE answer to economical chip control in small boring applications.

One problem with long-chipping materials is the formation of tangled swarf, which can wrap around the component, tool holder and insert that risks damage. "The sintered chip breaking geometry of the new Supermini not only ensures very good chip control, depending on the material, but also controlled chip breakage and short chips. No bird‘s nests. The new Mini 114 system from HORN enables a face grooving depth of up to 10 mm. The insert is suitable for turning and copy turning of axial grooves. The user does not need a special tool holder, as the insert is compatible with the existing axial holder system.
