  • Our Service division recently secured its largest single-facility preventative maintenance agreement to date: a comprehensive three-year contract with a confidential manufacturing and technology company. This contract is noteworthy not only for the facility’s size and complexity —121,000 sq ft laboratory / manufacturing facility —but also as a prime example of our holistic, construction-to-service capabilities. What began as a fast-paced design-assist project for our mechanical and plumbing teams fostered a trusted client relationship, paving the way for this long-term agreement. This collaboration demonstrates the power of our seamless, cross-divisional approach to ensure efficient and reliable facility operations well into the future. #HorwitzMilestones #ProjectSuccess #TeamHorwitz

At Horwitz, we’re committed to fostering a culture of curiosity, growth, and continuous learning. One way we achieve this is through our monthly Lunch & Learns, where vendor partners join us to share industry insights and innovations. This month, we explored energy-efficient and sustainable chiller technologies. Speakers Rick Mauk (Flow Environmental Systems) and Paulo Herrera (Jetson by Modine) provided valuable insights on advancements in low-GWP refrigerants, heat recovery chillers, and Rick highlighted his innovative CO2 technology for sustainable heating and cooling solutions. [Special thanks to Greg Nuss (SVL Inc.) for his support in bringing these experts in!] Want to learn more about these technologies or the HFC refrigerant phase-out? Contact us to schedule a meeting with our team! #CuriousCulture #InnovationInAction #Sustainability #LunchAndLearn

Back in January, when we first announced Bill McKoskey’s retirement, November 2024 felt like a distant milestone. Now, with just one week to go, it’s hard to believe the moment is almost here. Today, we pause to honor Bill’s extraordinary 36-year career at Horwitz—a tenure defined by unwavering dedication, countless successful projects across the metro, and a legacy that will endure for years to come. Bill’s wisdom, kindness, and humor (as well as his love of golf) have made him more than a valued colleague; he’s been a mentor, a friend, and an inspiration to so many of us. While his presence will be deeply missed, we’re filled with gratitude for all he’s given and excitement for the new adventures that await him. Please join us in celebrating Bill and thanking him for his remarkable contributions. Congratulations, Bill, on an exceptional career, and best wishes for a well-deserved retirement! #CheersToRetirement #NextChapter https://lnkd.in/g2Da4NpN
