Le 4 décembre, Stoyan Halkaliev et moi-même participerons à la conférence de Paris afin d'échanger sur les thèmes de l'interopérabilité, de #FHIR 🔥 et du référentiel de données cliniques #CDR, et de présenter notre système de poste de travail clinique basé sur FHIR pour le marché français. C'est peut-être une bonne occasion de se rencontrer lors de cette conférence. Peut-être aussi une bonne occasion pour la communauté française Hospitals on FHIR de nous rencontrer à PariSanté Campus pour parler de l'interopérabilité basée sur FHIR dans les hôpitaux et de la manière d'optimiser les processus de travail dans les traitements médicaux et les soins infirmiers. Luc Chatty , tu peux peut-être informer des interlocuteurs intéressants de la communauté française des Hospitals on FHIR que Stoyan et moi serons sur place le 4 décembre à Paris.

Some of the key takeaways of the "EEHRxF technical challenges and solutions, cybersecurity" working session that I had the privilege to moderate last week during the XpanDH Project event in Brussels 🇧🇪 : 📈 the different maturity levels of current EHR systems across the Union suggest an incremental approach, promoting the exchange of unstructured (narrative) data first, and structured data at a later stage 🎯 incentives to the Member States to change their EHR infrastructures are needed, to achieve the ambitious goals of the upcoming #EHDS implementing acts 📱 the expected impact of the #EUDI Wallet is recognised, however, specific attention should be paid to the usability (not overloading patients with too much data to navigate and handle) and security, harmonizing the very different solutions implemented today in the Member States on #eID 💊 ePrescriptions and Patient Summary would be welcomed as first use cases to exploit the potential of the #EUDI Wallet Henrique Martins Carola Schulz Anderson Carmo Simon Lewerenz ARIA S.p.A. La semaine dernière, j'ai eu la chance d'être invité à #Bruxelles pour deux évènements qui ont fait appels à mes multiples personnalités : CEO de Fyrstain, ambassadeur Hospitals on FHIR, expert FHIR HL7 Europe et patient expert. Ces évènements étaient autours de deux projets européen qui vont servir de base à l'Espace Européen des Données de Santé (#EHDS) : XpanDH Project et xShare project Les discussions ont principalement tournée autour de l'EHDS et du format #FHIR et nous avons pu montrer à quoi pourront ressembler des utilisations du format de celui-ci grâce aux démonstrations que j'avais annoncées (https://lnkd.in/euu9kBMS) Vous pouvez retrouver deux d'entre elles : https://lnkd.in/eEgE4vfM https://lnkd.in/eQs-NRaj Elles montrent le chemin parcouru en France et en Europe en e-santé. Néanmoins, l'échéance de 2028 pour les échanges au format de l'EHDS approche et les obstacles restent nombreux. Nous continuerons à avancer avec toutes les personnes de bonne volonté pour inscrire la France et l'Europe dans la e-santé de demain suivant la méthode qui a fait notre succès (et me permet de donner de la cohérence à mes multiples casquettes) : Une #expertise reconnue, avec la #communauté des établissements de santé, au niveau #Européen, pour mieux prendre en charge le #patient. J'ai d'ailleurs le plaisir de vous annoncer que Fyrstain est membre du consortium du projet Européen #XiA, démarrant en 2025 et qui vise à créer des formations en interopérabilité pour permettre à tous de se préparer au mieux à l'arrivée de l'espace européen. Session Highlight: Digital First Transition for Medical Product Information in Hospitals Monday, November 25th, 11:00- 12:00 CET    The revised European pharmaceutical strategy highlights the role of electronic medical information and a common standard for Europe, based on HL7 FHIR. This panel discussion, moderated by Dr. Anne Moen (Gravitate-Health coordinator, University of Oslo) and Catherine Chronaki (HL7 Europe), is comprised of representatives from various stakeholders in the healthcare industry, including Evinn Drusys, #AEMPS, #EMA #EPI product owner, Koen Nauwelaerts, Policy, & Innovation Lead, Bayer, EFPIA IATF, Olivia Dalleur, Clinical Pharmacist, University of Louven, Belgium, and Robert Vander Stichele, MD, Professor Emeritus of Clinical Pharmacology, University of Ghent. This distinguished panel will discuss this digital transition potential for ePIs in the hospital, to improve availability and supply of medicines, increase hospital efficiency and ensure safe use of medicines. HL7 Europe and IHE-Europe Join Forces to Drive Digital Health Forward and Enhance Interoperability in Brussels, Belgium [November 12, 2024] – HL7 Europe and IHE-Europe announce a strengthened collaboration to help propel the European Health Data Space (EHDS) goals to drive digital health forward and enhance interoperability. By combining their expertise, HL7 Europe and IHE-Europe aim to support the core objectives of the EHDS. This signifies a new era of data accessibility and exchange within the European Union, presenting an unprecedented opportunity for Member States to elevate healthcare standards. IHE-Europe Vendor Co-Chair Janos Vincze of GE Healthcare expressed enthusiasm, highlighting: “With the EHDS Europe will make a big leap in digital health, thereby improving the lives of patients, enhance the access to data for physicians and researchers, and create a more unified European market for vendors. I am excited that HL7 Europe and IHE-Europe double their efforts to collaboratively support this initiative”. Giorgio Cangioli, Technical Lead for HL7 Europe, said about this agreement: “At HL7 Europe, we recognize the transformative potential of the EHDS in creating a truly integrated healthcare across Europe. Together with IHE-Europe and other standards-developing organizations, we aim to build a strong foundation for an efficient, accessible, and secure health data landscape. We look forward to deepening our collaboration, actively engaging our communities—including HL7 Affiliates and the HL7 Europe Technical Coordination Team—to deliver concrete, impactful solutions for our stakeholders”. As chair of the European Health Informatics standards committee CEN/TC 251, Robert Stegwee sees his aspirations of close collaboration between standards developing organisations (SDOs) take hold in Europe, fueled by the EHDS: “We are already very successful in global collaboration on the set of standards for the International Patient Summary. I’m very glad to see this strengthened by HL7 and IHE in Europe as well and look forward to broader SDO collaboration, through the xShare project, in establishing the European EHRxF Standards and Policy Hub”.
